Hi there! I am Charlotte Van Velthoven-Geerdink and the founder of Charly Speaks. I work as a public affairs specialist and professional moderator with sound expertise in European/EU science, research, education, innovation, maritime and (digital) health topics. By coincidence, I started moderating high level events back in 2016 and found out that I loved doing it. Voilà, my own business case was born and now I am a seasoned professional moderator who brings energy and excitement to every stage with expertise, attention to detail, a bit of humour and my ´sharing is caring´ approach.  

 

I mainly moderate events in English, but you can also count on me as a moderator in Dutch (I am a Dutch native) or German (I simply love the language and always use to work in German, too).

 

My style of moderating can best be described as informal, relaxed, and witty. It is my aim to bring across complex material in an understandable way. Making the speakers, panelists and audience feel at ease is what I always strive for.
